Things to Do in North Conway
The White Mountains are known for their wide variety of winter sports options. Intrepid adventurers can set out to climb some of New Hampshire’s 48 Four Thousand Footers, a group of mountains that rise 4,000 feet above sea level. This group includes New Hampshire’s tallest mountain, Mt. Washington, which is one of the largest East of the Rockies.
Though the ocean is many miles away, people still seek out North Conway for its water sports. The many lakes in the area are perfect for swimming, waterskiing, windsurfing, and more. Kayakers and white water rafters will find exactly what they need along the Saco River.
